Alberton

Alberton is one of the most loved historic houses in New Zealand and is a perfect venue for weddings, meetings, functions, concerts and specialist events. It is also perfect as a picturesque historical backdrop for wedding photographs, film shoots and advertisements.

Alberton is open to the public Wednesday to Sunday, and is located only six - seven minutes from downtown Auckland. It provides visitors with a "step back in time" experience of what it was like for a wealthy family to grow up and live in the New Zealand version of a mid-Victorian country house.

Today visitors can explore the 22-room house and enjoy the beautiful half hectare garden.

Come and share the delights of Alberton.

Alberton is registered as a Category I historic place.
