Old St Paul's:Venue for Hire

Old St Paul's offers a unique, interdenominational venue for weddings, funerals, church services, exhibitions, concerts and cultural events. Still consecrated, Wellington's treasured historic church has regularly hosted much more than church and civil services - from musicals and drama, to fashion shows, floral displays and product launches to school prize givings and concerts of all kinds.

Intimate, welcoming, elegant and tranquil, Old St Paul's is just a few minutes stroll from the central business district and its amentities. Since 1866, it's been our perfect venue for your celebration.

Capacity

Seating (fixed) - up to 480.

For displays or exhibitions which do not require seating, please discuss your requirements with the Programme Coordinator.

Facilities

Limited domestic kitchen facilities are available. Old St Paul's is accessible to wheelchairs although some aisles may be narrow for motorised scooters and chairs. The toilets are not readily accessible by visitors in wheelchairs.

Additional tables and chairs are available for hire if required.

Generally, car parking is available only on the street (metered) or nearby public parking spaces.

Catering

We work closely with a number of very experienced and professional catering companies who are familiar with the facilities available at Old St Paul's. We would be delighted to assist you with arrangments for refreshments. Call the Programme Co-ordinator to discuss your requirements.

You are welcome to make your own arrangements for catering, but we recommend strongly that your chosen caterer visits Old St Paul's well before your function to view our facilities.
