Heritage Sites to Visit

The Auckland region has many sites and buildings of historic significance. A selection of the heritage places open to the public are presented here. Please note that entry is not necessarily free, sometimes admission is by donation or koha, and in some cases, you may need to make special arrangements in advance of your visit.

If you plan to visit sites out-of-doors, please wear (or take) appropriate clothing, footwear and sunblock - some sites are exposed to the elements, and weather can change quickly.
