Otago Branch Committee

The Otago Branch represents the districts of the Otago Region in Dunedin City and Clutha District. The Otago Branch Committee is elected by the Trust’s membership in our geographic area.

We are part of the Otago Southland area of the Trust’s Southern Region. Other neighbouring branches are Southland, Queenstown-Lakes, Central Otago and North Otago.

Branches work closely with the Trust’s Area Managers and Heritage Advisers, and with the community, to raise awareness of heritage issues as well as provide opportunities for participation in heritage-related activities in their area. Branch committees also provide local input into the decisions of the Trust Board. Otago Southland is represented by the Area Office at Dunedin.
