Heritage at Risk

Despite their immense value to our cultural landscape, many of New Zealand's heritage places are under threat, from development pressures, neglect, or simply the wear of time.

The New Zealand Historic Places Trust is particularly concerned about the risks faced by the places listed below, and fears their survival for future generations is far from guaranteed.

The Trust is actively lobbying key decision-makers for the continued preservation of these special and important places.

You can help us in a simple and effective way through participating in any suggested action that may accompany these stories.

St John's Cathedral Hall (Napier)

Cook Landing Site (Gisborne)
Armson Woolstore (Christchurch)
